I recently got my hands on the forever hyped MAC Pro Longwear concealer, during my search for the perfect concealer I grabbed a couple of the LA Girl Pro Conceal after reading rave reviews! Today I’m going to compare the two for you!
Let me just say… The MAC Pro Longwear Concealer cost me $32 AUD while the LA Girl Pro Conceal cost me $3 AUD, so just keep that in mind!
I have the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NW20 and the LA Girl Pro Conceal in the shade Classic Ivory. Both of these concealers are pink toned as they were bought specifically for under my eyes!
Pro Longwear concealer is a lot thinner in consistency while the Pro Conceal is nice and creamy. The Pro Conceal is also A LOT peachier!
I find the Pro Longwear a lot drier, and it also isn’t good for layering. The Pro Conceal is a good consistency for layering to hide those dark circles!
Depending on your level of dark circles I think the Pro a Longwear is great for a long wearing concealer for average dark circles, while the Pro Conceal is better for darker circles as you can layer it!
You know that exciting feeling when you’re waiting for a package? When you get the package? When you open up the exciting package and you hurry to take pictures and then FINALLY you get to try on the product… Have you ever found the perfect product? How about the perfect lipstick?
I am about to make a pretty big statement… I have found my perfect nude lipstick.
Finding the perfect lipstick happened by chance, I purchased the YSL Glossy Stain in the shade Corail Aquatique, long story short – I hated it! Even longer story short, I swapped my YSL Glossy Stain with a friend for MAC Flair For Finery lipstick – the lipstick that I have fallen in love with.
Flair For Finery is a part of MAC Cosmetics Divine Night holiday collection for 2013. I tend to avoid MAC collections lately because there seems to be a new one every five minutes! Also, what happens if I find something I can’t live without and it never gets made permanent! The Divine Night collection has the best packaging, it is beautiful! The tube is a matte black with gold details instead of a shimmery black with silver details, even the MAC logo is gold!
Flair For Finery is described as “a cool pink nude” which is pretty accurate but I find this lipstick to be a lovely neutral nude on myself. Flair For Finery has the perfect amount of pink and beige for my skin tone. It is a Lustre finish, semi opaque and glossy! The best way to describe Flair For Finery is kind of like my favorite pink nude mixed with my favorite beige nude! When worn either sheer or opaque, Flair For Finery does not wash me out on bit, I think it does the opposite, my face seems brighter when I’m wearing it!
The best thing about this lipstick is that it applies sheer and can be built up to be opaque. I think this is when most people wouldn’t like this type of lipstick. I find that when applied thicker, you have to kind of wait for the lipstick to melt into your lips and it is definitely worth it! If you have a lipstick that applies a bit chunky, try waiting for it to “melt in” and you may have a new favorite lipstick!
Basically what I’m saying is if you get the chance you kinda might need Flair For Finery. I’m already buying a backup – something I haven’t ever done with a lipstick!
